First time ordering a HDD online through the post. I would normally pick up my HDDs in person so I was worried at first. Item arrived fairly quick and in working order with the SN showing 3 years of warranty remaining. Item was packaged within a bag tightly in a simple cardboard box with shaped thick soft foam. Likely unrelated to the seller, be aware that this drive is very loud when seeking. Overall I am happy with this purchase and received what I was expecting for a fairly cheap price.

Arrived in what looked like original packaging. Drive was used to rebuild my RAID array and does not have any errors. The manufacturer warranty expires in 2028 but does not apply in Australia as it was not sold from its original region. Seller confirms a 2 year warranty though. These drives usually outlast their warranty by many years. The similar drive it is replacing had been out of warranty by 4 years. A good value purchase.

Great cable, Inexpensive price
I bought a powered USB hub and it only worked for a few minutes before it started "killing" the computer's USB 3.0 ports. I paid so little for it, it wasn't worth the expense to return it, and was about to discard it when I happened to try a different input cable. Suddenly, it started working fine. I then realized that the supplied cable was the problem (it was shorted). This was the cheapest replacement cable I could find, and, not only was it longer, giving me more mounting options, but it worked well.I bought a powered USB hub and it only worked for a few minutes before it started "killing" the computer's USB 3.0 ports. Cable Sucks
My cousin bought a 1tb Western Digital External Hardrive from Walmart but after a few months his cable broke because he bent it but the hard drive still worked, so I ordered him this New Blue cable and in the description it said it worked on Western Digital external hardrives well 1 week later it arrives and the hard drive does to turn on but the system won't recognize the hard drive so I said maybe it's the hardrive but I let me cousin my cable sense I also had the same hard drive as him and my original manufacturer cable worked so his hard drive wasn't the issue it was the cable I just bought it so now this new blue cable is useless. "Longer and better"
I needed a longer cable than the one I had for my (compact flash) card reader and this was PERFECT! My old one was only 3 ft. long and this 5 ft. one was exactly what I needed, and it worked like a charm. So glad I purchased it because it's well made and fit into my budget.
