The Sony SAL-14TC APO AF is a teleconverter type lens. The construction of this Sony teleconverter lens consists of five elements in four groups performing as a single diverging lens. This teleconverter for Sony and Minolta is compatible with SSM type lenses, and the compatibility of the Sony SAL-14TC APO AF extends to a selected range of Sony and Minolta lenses. Owing to the superiority of its design, this teleconverter for Sony and Minolta provides flexible range while producing high quality photographs. This Sony teleconverter lens allows the user to multiply focal length by 1.4 while reducing the aperture by only one f/stop. The Sony SAL-14TC APO AF teleconverter is ideal for a photographer who is looking for a lens that provides extra focal length at an affordable cost.
