Rigid...name says it all
I purchased two less expensive flaring tools...had terrible experience flaring 3/8 fuel line...crooked, bent etc. One tool broke, the other I returned. Almost gave up, thought flaring was beyond me...gave this tool one last chance....first flare came out absolutely perfect...looked as good as the factory flare...NO LEAKS on fuel line. Have done several flares with great success. This tool is well made, sturdy and makes flaring very easy. One tip...use grease on the flaring tip and step accessories, saves the tool long term. Comes with a nice case. everything is just well made. I don't represent or work for rigid...this is just my opinion. Another tip...this tool can be used with a vise, which helps hols the tubing in the flare tool....keeps it from slipping away from the flare tip. Very ... I have made several double flares with this tool using 1/4 inch soft steel tubing and every one was successful. The design of the tool provides for more accurate centering of the flaring tool tip and holds the tubing more securely than the less expensive devices.
