Great little vac!!
This does the job with ease. sucks up leaves ,bugs and even very sand thanks to the micro filter. I would have given it 5 stars if the rechargeable battery was able to be replaced without having to send it in the manufacturer. The cost of the battery pack and shipping would have been a little more than what I paid for a new one. This is my 3rd Pool Blaster Max purchased in last 9 years and using the hose and pool filter as a means to vac the 24ft pool is just not an option. hopefully by the time it needs the batter replaced there will be an option to replace it myself..This does the job with ease. sucks up leaves ,bugs and even very sand thanks to the micro filter. Very poor operating life.
This was a very poorly performing unit. After just a little under two months the suction on this machine is negligible. All this while I scrupulously followed all maintenance, charging and cleaning instructions. The unit was used 2-3 times per week and at first did a good job. Now it won't pick up even small particulates or insects.

This is a great product that does everything its advertizing says that it does. You charge it up, attach it to the end of a standard sized pool pole, and run it across the bottom of the pool to sweep up all the nasties that end up in there. Once again... it does EVERYTHING they say it can do. Our pool is surrounded by trees and top cover. I am still suprised at the size of the items it's able to handle. My complaints/comments or things just things I would change: The battery lasts every bit of the hour they say it lasts. Sometiimes an hour just isn't long enough. The operation switch also doubles as the water tight seal where the charging plug is located. It takes a pair of STRONG fingers to start/stop the motor. I'd have made the carrying bag a bit ... This is a very capable machine and because it&apos;s so capable, it doesn't take long for it to fill the supplied refuse catch bag. Other comments: The sand and silt bag (optional and additional) is a MUST! Spend the extra cash and get one of these. I do the initial pool bottom cleaning with the supplied bag theen switch to the sand/silt bag to get the little stuff. Once again, it does an excellent job of doing what it's intended to do. I gave 4 out of 5 stars for the items I listed above. If my star rating were only a reflection of whether this tool did what it is advertized to do, it would be a hands down 5 out of 5! I couldn&apos;t be more pleased. I've certainly spent a lot more money on products that do a whole lot less. If you have a small pool and don't want to hassle with creepy crawlers and auto-vacs, etc. then this is a good buy. We have an above ground pool that includes a pump that is no where near strong enough to run a sweeper of any kind. This is self contained and performs very, very well. Steps for cleaning my pool: I use the net to get the REALLY big stuff out. I use the pool blaster with the supplied catcher to vac the bottom of the pool. I empty that catcher 6 to 8 times before moving to the next step. I use the sand/silt net to finish the cleanup ($25 more for the silt net and worth every penny). The thing that you should know about the silt net is that the stuff that discolors your water will be caught by this net. I run the pool filter and skimmer to catch what's left. Occationally I'll shut the pool pump down and use the silt net to gather up anything left behind. Prior to the Pool Blaster, I was endlessly scooping with the pool net and NEVER getting the pool bottom clean. I generally have a clean pool within an hour and a half now. It's a 15 foot by 4 foot deep circular above ground pool (Walmart). Hope this helps.

Good value product
Easy to use , very light and so far very reliable . The one improvement this product needs to be perfect ( 5 stars) has to be the size of the trash collecting bag that in my opinion is needlessly small . As a result any normal pool cleaning has to be stopped several times to empty , and wash the bag to maintain optimal suction .

Easy to Use
This is my second Pool Blaster, and it has been a life saver for me in cleaning my above ground pool. I am in my 70s and I was having difficulty trying to clean my pool until someone told me about the pool blaster. It is very easy to use and cleans good. The only negative is that sometimes when my pool is pretty dirty, one charge will not do the entire pool.
