This little projector packs a big punch. I needed a small cinema-quality projector for my bedroom that I could install in the ceiling with a mount. The image can be changed to be mounted in various configurations and I love that function. The colors are actually quite true to original and the image is very bright. I have even been able to see images during daylight hours. The only thing I would change is I wish the audio output was designed to be on the projector itself and not via an extension adaptor. It makes the installation of this unit a bit less "clean" and adds more wiring. Additionally, this projector does not have a rechargeable battery so it must be connected to power at all times. In my case, this is actually a benefit because I have it installed in the ceiling and it will be connected to power even when it's turned off. Nonetheless, this is still my first choice for a portable and affordable DLP projector. In fact, I have personally tried out many and this one is by far the best.Read full review

I am projecting from the headboard to the ceiling directly above. The unit is approx 5' from the ceiling. I don't use the keystone correction now, but did at first. Keystone seem to degrade the picture slightly and casts more incidental light around the picture, so I found a better position needing no correction. I use at night in a dark room and the picture is bright and colors very nice. My unit was purchased used with about 2000 hours on it.
