Synopsis
Human beings are the only species who deliberately alter their own appearance. This customization can include tattooing, piercing, scarring or adorning the body. Even the actual body shape can be amended - compressed with corsets or padded out in the right places. This work looks at the increasingly popular revival of ancient human decoration practices such as symbolic/deeply personal tattooing, multiple piercing and ritual scarification. Primitive actions which rupture conventional confines of behaviour and aesthetics are objectively scrutinized. In the context of the death of global frontiers, this volume charts the territory of the last remaining underdeveloped source of first-hand experience - the human body.

Sellers like this one is the reason why I’ve started using quality sellers on eBay and have left the terrible Amazon shipped products. Absolutely 100% perfect transaction. Item arrived earlier than expected, well packaged and in absolutely MINT appearance and condition!!! Amazon would learn a thing or two when it comes to businesses like this where the price is right and the item actually arrives as described and in perfect collector's quality. A+!!!

  • Sailor Sid is now the norm

Unusual book but seems quaint today following the widespread and deliberate validation of what was previously deviant and pathological. The embrace of widespread societal entropy ultimately leads to acceptance of degeneracy on a larger scale which we are seeing now. It does not bode well for Western Civilization and the USA in particular. Unfortunately it happens gradual enough that the younger generations know nothing else and accept unquestioningly the new lower standards. It brings to mind the old adage that one 'can be so open-minded that (their) brains fall out.' Thanks to the constant bombardment of brainwashing, we are just about there.
