WOW! Maybe I just became complacent over the past 55 years of riding motorcycles and took shifters for granted. I haven't mounted this, yet...but when I took it out of the packaging and held it, felt it, manipulated it's folding feature...I had to admit this thing is SO WELL MADE, so SOLID, so HEAVY DUTY, why aren't ALL motorcycle parts made like this?!? I LOVE that fact that Parts Giant is here in Michigan. This IMS Folding Shifter seemed to appear overnight! BEST PRICE on the Internet!!!

This product has been well worth the money.
I bought this product because all of the aluminum shift levers I have used in the past have stripped around the splines within a few months. I decided to try a steel lever to prevent this. This lever was no more expensive than an aluminum one and has held up very well. I also noticed the splines are at a slightly different angle than the levers I have had in the past. Some people might find this uncomfortable, but I found that it put the lever in a much better position for me. Great for beginner riders
The shifter is great for the rider who has a heavy shift foot, and has had problems stripping aluminum shifters
