    Great, fun oil pastels!

    While these are always sold at a lower price than many other brands of oil pastels, do not be fooled into thinking they are not good quality. These are well pigmented with a beautiful color array. These blend very nicely with either Turpenoid or Oderless Mineral Spirits. They can also be blended with baby oil although in my experience this medium is less satisfactory because it is harder to control and may leave an oil mark on the other side of your paper. you can also blend just using your finger directly onto the pastel on the paper. These are smaller than some pastels and nice and light in your hand. They have a blunt end rather than a tapered end. I recommend these oil pastels for casual hobbyists, or beginners to the medium of oil pastels and even to youngsters. with kids, ...
