In this volume, the movies include WOMEN OF THE PREHISTORIC PLANET, WILD REBELS, THE SINISTER URGE, and THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE CREATURES WHO STOPPED LIVING AND BECAME MIXED-UP ZOMBIES, the latter of which contains more mixed up dance numbers than actual zombies.

    Worth picking up at any price...

    Out of print due to rights issues, this volume remains a holy grail for fans of Mystery Science Theater fans. Two of the films (Sinister Urge and Incredibly Strange Creatures...) have Mike and the gang at their best, riffing away at the cinematic abortions of Ray Dennis Steckler and Ed Wood. The Joel installments (Wild Rebels and Women of the Prehistoric Planet) are weak, though Wild Rebels contains one of Joel's most memorable host segments, in the form of Joel flogging "Wild Rebels Cereal". Women of the Prehistoric Planet is the weakest of the four (and the reason for the set being out of print) but some fans will get a kick out of the plot, of spacemen versus cavewomen.

    Mystery Science Theater 3000 - Collection Volume 9

    A great DVD set from one of the best shows ever. This set has episodes from the first season to the Sci-Fi seasons, funny stuff.

    A must-have set to top off your collection!!!

    The films contained are not the absolute best Joel, Mike, and the Bots ever put together, but it is a fine collection nevertheless for discerning collectors of this genre. The film on the pornography industry is particularly hilarious.
