So 1st off I was a but bummed that the prices went up just prior to my purchase which I'm assuming was due to President's day sale happening which lead me to having to purchase a smaller unit but oh well,snooze you lose.Now that being said,the unit shipped very fast.It came in original boxing with regulator&manual.Only issues I've found was the regulator cover was a bit deformed somehow&the screws to put it together where missing.Some scuffs on outer shell of unit.It seems unused&started&ran ok.

Item came packaged nicely. As was mentioned, refurbished. There were signs of use, some areas could have done with a bit of cleaning but overall was fairly ok. The battery charger would have also been nice since it doesn't appear to use a regular readily available type end. Run hours zero, nice. Mine took a few tries to get going with the recoil start. Once it was, then it started easily afterwards. It does seem to work ok, loaded to about 1400W no problems.

Firman dual fuel inverter generator
I was looking for a standby generator to power only a few items of necessity in my home during a power fail. The unit I received was refurbished unit. The unit had a small crack in housing and that was it. I put oil in it, had to actually connect the 12 V battery at the terminal and then it would start on LP GAS, this is main fuel for this unit as it is a standby unit. It will be started often to maintain unit in peak run. The unit sounds like a lawn mower volume when running. I ran it at 1500 watts for 10 minutes as the first run. Dead on arrival
It was dead on arrival. Pull cord would not pull. At first it seemed like the motor was locked up. It was the pull cord not on track and seized up on the mechanism. After a couple hours of disassembly I was able to correct the cord and determined the pull cord cage was bent. The air filter intake box was crushed as well. Battery was dead too. I got everything back up to running operation and I’m satisfied enough, but this should’ve never left the refirb factory. It does work well on propane, haven’t tried on gas. It was dead on arrival. Great deal, but a minor inconvenience
Fired up right away with gas 1st attempt. However, some few, minor parts (3) that the manual says should be included weren't. I called the company, they state that refurbished models don't include the parts mentioned in the manual! One is the charger for the battery to utilize the electric start. Seems pretty important to me if that's one of the features your advertising

I bought one of these refurbished and saved a bunch. One drawback to buying “refurbished” is that many of the accessories you would normally get new are not included. The only accessory that is included is the propane regulator assembly, instruction Manuel with registration and warranty card. The oil, tool kit, weather cover, and battery maintainer are NOT included. What you do get is a truly refurbished unit. I meticulously went through, and inspected the inverter and to my surprise, i had a brand new engine with less than 1 hour of run time on the odometer. In fact all the internal guts were brand new. I was extremely happy. I did call customer service to order a battery maintainer from Firman directly, and again to my surprise I spoke with a Firman sales Technician, that answered all my ... I highly recommend buying refurbished from Firman under these expectations: 1st -you’ll get a thoroughly refurbished unit in near brand new condition, but you will notice outer wear. 2nd -limited accessories included, so you’ll have to buy your own oil, cover, battery maintainer, and maintenance tools with this purchase. At half the price This is a bargain.

I'm a first time generator owner. I bought this based off people who've owned several models and brands, along with some research on Firman. I needed something that is easy to use, won't break with regular use, and can deliver 2k watts for a well pump. This generator provides all that. Out of the box it looked brand new. Couple marks in the plastic but not very noticeable. I filled the oil reservoir up and hooked up a tank with the included adapter hose, and a couple minutes later the thing was chugging away. I've got about 30 hours on it now and it's a good runner. It's not as quiet as my neighbors predator, but it's quiet enough that i go to the other side of my shop and i can't hear it. Can't hear it an acre away with line of sight on it. It's heavier than i thought. But still ... I'm a first time generator owner.
