    S7 active has unique and desirable features for me.

    The phone is well designed and has a powerful processor. I especially like the 3 tactile buttons on the bottom (active screen, menu, back), as opposed to the touch sensor buttons on all Samsung phones now. The new Galaxy S8 Active does not have tactile buttons, which was a mistake in my opinion. For users with bigger hands like me, my palms and thumbs easily touch these buttons inadvertently, and the tactile buttons prevent a lot of fumbling around when I type or navigate phone apps. Overall, it's also a great phone. It comes with all the power and performance of the S7 model, and is even more rugged. My only design recommendation to Samsung is to stop placing the power button directly across the volume buttons. They have been doing this for too long on the galaxy models and frankly it ...

    Great phone with one notorious display flaw

    This model is notorious for the vertical pink line on the display. Samsung should fix these for LIFE! It is one thing to have a relative few of them doing this, but ebay is FULL of listings disclosing the flaw. Other than this VERY annoying problem, I've been otherwise very pleased with it after owning it for over 2 years. I'd happily buy another if I could be assured the pink line wasn't going to be a problem.

    Ideal for my use

    Lightweight, sized right, quick processor makes for great experience with any online browsing or video watching. Expandable SD card slot is an obvious plus. No issues at all with the battery life. The camera is awesome! I use Bluetooth for music regularly, and it connects across a longer distance than my old phone. The screen does seem to scratch a bit easier than expected, so I would advise getting a screen protector early on. No complaints here though, because the one I purchased was pre-owned and the screen was immaculate. Note, the S7 Active does require a different size screen protector than traditional S7.

    Good phone

    If you like Samsung, the line is continued well with the Galaxy S7. Great camera and I like the expandable memory. So far the big battery in the active version lasts me 2 days.
