    One of the best records ever for guitar

    The best jazz guitar record ever!! That simple. Wes played things here like no guitarist since. You can't copy his playing if you're a guitarist because even if you try the energy that this record has can never be duplicated. One of my favorite records of all time. These guys were at the highest musical level.

    octaves dejure

    this is my favorite wes mongomery cd,wes is known for playing in octaves,but on here he plays a lot of single note phrases,and melodies,to complement each other.backed by a great rythum section,the band just burns throughout this set.great cd.

    Highly recommended live set for Wes and Wynton Kelly trio! If you like jazz or not you will probably enjoy this smooth performance.
