  • All around best representation of a Grateful Dead concert, MUST HAVE

This is the all-around best live Grateful Dead movie. There are better shows musically maybe on video, but none that capture what this one does. First off the acoustic set is a rarity, the acoustic Bird Song and Ripple are alone worth the price of this. The close ups and interaction between the band is unique for a video .Most Dead vids you just dont get that much facial expression and personality , and are just as interesting if the screen off/just audio. This shows the band members personalities and how much fun these guys had playing together. The Lost Sailor/Saint of Circumstance is also extraordinary & one of a kind. You will recognize some of these live version from the DEad Set and Reckoning albums

  • I grew up as a Dead Head so what can I say....

So far over the Christmas holiday I watched this once but when it was put on it captured the attention of my children & boyfriend & they were all asking ?'s. And who they were about the lighting everything. Where they were who was still alive & where they were playing now, with whom, what instrument(make) they were playing etc.. it really opened up alot of conversation. And certainly brings back many memories for me since I live in an area now thats not accessable to see them. Lilseaturtle Discount Sales
