I have already used the die to chase some poorly formed brass valve stem threads. It worked perfectly! I have not used the tap yet, but I did check it closely. Edges are well-formed (no chips or breakage), clean (no burrs), and sharp. Thread pitch and diameters are correct and the high speed steel is appropriately hardened. I'm happy with my purchase.
