    Great vegetable peeler

    After my old trusty Ecko vegetable peeler got dull, I started looking for a replacement. I've been pretty leery of US brands that shipped manufacturing to China because usually the quality just isn't there anymore. They use inferior steel or they get the tolerances wrong. I made that mistake once on a Swing-A-Way can opener. I searched for something similar to replace it - and I really wanted a simple, well made tool, just like the old Ecko. No plastic handle, no need for something really fancy looking, just a plain, good, well made kitchen tool. I found it in this peeler made by Jonas. Very high quality - I would say higher quality than the old US made Ecko peelers that are no longer available. It's sharp, fits the hand comfortably and I have really enjoyed using it.     Unlike similar products, it works!

    Have been frustrated with cheap knock off peelers that I could find in local hardware and grocery stores. This is the real deal, and works very well. Just like Grandma used to use, but stainless!

    Functional no frills works well

    The shape is identical to the traditional sunbeam metal veg peeler first made in USA than in Japan. This Jonas one works well. I think it's s bit overpriced.

    Great for stocking stuffers!

    This is the best veg peeler I've ever had. It's so good I bought a few to give away as gifts! Your friends & family will appreciate how much easier it is to peel apples and carrots. I had to peel pounds of apples this year because my apple trees were prolific. This really helped. And the price is right!
