The trainer DOES NOT attach to BOLTS as the erroneous misleading advertisement says, and while I gave the seller EVERY opportunity to cancel the order BEFORE shipment in the event it didn't attach to BOLTS they shipped it anyway & I have EVERY intention of returning it. I CANNOT use a QR trainer so I opted for this one as it says it attaches to BOLTS & had I wanted a QR trainer I would have opted for American made NOT CHINESE. I SHOULD have known better than to buy ANYTHING CHINESE made.

This bike trainer comes with everything needed. It works best with newer style bikes but will also work with vintage 5-speeds too. It's easy to set up and adjust. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the cable to the tension adjustment could be about a foot longer. If you're using it on a large bike it's a stretch to reach the handlebars. Also, it's a bit noisy but if you wear headphones you won't notice. For the price it does the job. This bike trainer comes with everything needed. Not a bike enthusiast ~ at all, however, decided the best use of the bike collecting dust in basement was to use it while doing laundry. Thus began my search for a trainer. It took a while, but the search and time were worth it. The trainer arrived in a timely manner. I was not impressed with the directions for set up; the "descriptive" photos were blurry, not that I didn't figure them out, but it would have been less frustrating had the photos been clearer. After some grumbling and fumbling, the trainer was set up. Now I can pedal to wherever my imagination takes me. Other brands that do the same as this product cost hundreds of dollars more. I was skeptical about buying this when I was pricing other brands. This does exactly what the others do for a whole lot less $$$. I need it to stay in shape during cold weather. It is easy to set up and use. It comes with a skewer to replace your rear quick release (if you need it) so your bike will fit on the trainer hub. It has a 5 level resistance adjustment that easily attaches to your handle bar if your bike is a single speed (I use my bike's speed adjustment). It is very sturdy and I feel very safe using it. The directions could be a little better but if you have any mechanical aptitude it isn't difficult to figure out. I am very happy with this purchase. The knob that adjusts resistance may be redundant if your bike isn't a single-speed or fixie. If your bike has gears it seems easier to just shift through them to fine tune the difficulty of the work-out. Ultimately it's a nice addition for avid cyclists as well those wanting to get into the sport but are nervous of diving right in without some practice.Good for getting on the bike even if the weather isn't cooperating.
