    Poor quality of painting on Santa figurine.

    I have been terribly disappointed in the Canadian Santa. I am a very old Jim Shore customer. Started buying pieces many years ago. Had all of the large angels and all the Christmas Song Santas. I moved to a very small senior retirement apartment and really had no room for all the large pieces so I ended up selling them. I decided to just have a collection of the smaller Santas Around the World and have several that depict part of my heritage. I wanted the Canadian Santa as my father was born in Canada. I was shocked to see the quality in the craftsmanship of the Canadian Santa. The factory in China that is producing these pieces apparently does no exercise the quality control of older pieces. The Canadian Santa is very poorly painted! The maple leaves around the Santas robe skirt is so ...
