  • Good card on a budget, not intended for hardcore hi res settings.

I bought this for a budget gaming rig for a nephew. One thing to watch out for on these cards, as well as the 5670's, is it is sometimes difficult to know if you are getting a DDR3 or ddr5 just by pictures. This one was sold as DDR5 but was actually DDR3; an honest mistake. I know that Windows experience scores are sometimes iffey, but my Sapphire Radeon 5670 ddr3 had better scores than this model. I did manage to play World of Warcraft at high/med settings coupled with a Phenom II x2 555 and flew around Pandaria at 30+ frames on high resolutions. Overall a good product for what it is intended.

  • Looks like someone beat me to the damn purchase button

DDR3 or DDR5, $45 was a steal of a price. I just bought an ASRock Hybrid Crossfire AM2+/AM3, with 1x PCI Express 2.0 and 2x PCI and 4x 240pin slots for the max of 16GB of DDR2, the processor is a AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual-Core 5000+ ~2.6Ghz (Overclocked to ~3.1Ghz) and I've added 3x 1GB sticks of DDR2. Question 1: 4GB be enough to play some decent games or should i at-least go with 8GB. Question 2: Is it worth upgrading to a Phenom x4 Quad-Core processor? Question 3: Should i sell my FM2, A8-6600k and go with AMD FX eight Core processor? Sorry for the rambling I'm stoned, but i was honestly going to order this card for this Athlon (:
