  • This Book Is a MUST HAVE in Every Kitchen!

I was first introduced to Diet for a Small Planet in 1977. I've used the information on complementing proteins ever since. I have also been using the recipes from the book ever since. I have replaced the book three times so far! It's a must read for anyone wanting to either switch to a vegetarian diet or just make more healthier choices.

  • Great Classic

A great classic that is even more relevant today. Put on your reading list and be the change.

  • A great reference for proper plant based nutrition.

I bought this book as a gift to a new young vegetarian because I knew its value. I own the book and have found it through the years to be a great reference, helping me to build meals that included complete proteins. Animal protein is complete (contains all of the essential amino acids), but plant protein isn't. This book was very informative, assuring I was getting all of the necessary nutrients. I believe it is the best reference for a new vegetarian.
