    The only negative thing about these is they were not advertised as PASSIVE connectors, meaning they do NOT change a PS2 device to work as a USB device - they only reconnect the wires. Not sure what devices handle this, but if some do, mine didn't. I had to reorder a PS2 to USB dongle with circuitry in a little box between the PS2 and the USB connectors. I can't gripe too loudly since they delivered these $4 items I had ordered quickly. Fortunately, reordering dongle w/Gravity Standard did good.

    Major issue, this "converter" is only a passive device and does NOT convert the PS2 mouse signals, only connects the wires to a USB port. contacted the seller and did not receive a reply. The seller should properly describe it as an adapter, NOT a converter. It appears that the issue has been known for over 12 years. To properly "CONVERT" the PS2 mouse to the USB port, an active device is needed and this is NOT. received full refund. BUY only if you are replacing a previous adapter.
