The item is made of durable plastic, is only 1" thick, and weighs less than 13 oz. The UPS shipping should have cost them $9.93 (so maybe even charge $20 tops to include packing labor), but I was charged an eye-watering $60.00 that I could not get them to budge on. And on top of that, they just re-used an old Amazon box. Yes, it arrived safely, but I was GOUGED beyond belief on the shipping. BOO!
