Very strange you get noise a I use this on my Sega Master System with zero noise. I've sold hundreds of these and never had an issue. Please try using a tiny piece foil on your AV RCA connection when plugging into the TV port. That has worked to eliminate noise with my Commodore 64 AV cable.
