      Contained the wrong chip

      While these keys looked the same as my existing key, the locksmith was unable to program them. He said there are 2 types of chip (40 bit and 80 bit) and these contained the wrong one. Usually the 80 bit chip is backwards compatible but these were not.

      Didn't work. Do not buy!

      Just like everyone else, these keys didn't work with my 2011 Ford Escape. I have the capability to program keys with a factory Ford scan tool. I could only get the RKE function to work and that's about it. Worthless key to me. Don't spend your money on this key!

      Doesn’t work

      They look original like OEM, but they aren’t. Took the keys to Ford and tried to program them three times. Ford said they couldn’t program them. Save time buy the OEM keys and you won’t have any problems.

      Cannot program to PATS

      Programmed keyless entry , no problem but will not program to PATS on vechile, even with 2 good keys. Took it to FORD dealer for programming.
