The items came in three packages each of which said "package opened/damaged" The thin cardboard like package was indeed somewhat damaged but the knee highs were neatly wrapped in another cellophane package inside the cardboard package so they were in perfect condition. The picture included shows the front and back of the exterior package and the cellophane package with the actually stocking. I am totally pleased.
