About this product

Product Information

There are several features on the NetGear wireless router that give users the ability to quickly and securely connect to the Internet and network connections. The router is compatible with both Mac and Windows platforms and is useful for those who may have multiple platforms on one network. The encryption available on the NetGear WGR614 is WPA. The 54 Mbps wireless router has five different frequencies so that it can be used in multiple regions around the world. The interface for the NetGear wireless router is an Ethernet interface. There are two dBi antenna on the NetGear WGR614 enabling the router to broadcast a strong signal. The security features of the router include stateful packet inspection and DoS attack prevention. The 54 Mbps wireless router also features a 4-port switch that can provide a steady hard-wired connection to computers that do not have wireless capabilities. Those who are looking for a wireless router that is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems will enjoy all of the features of the NetGear wireless router.

    AWESOME

    Thanks now I can hook it up to my comcast internet box for wifi for my daughters school tablet and chrome booklet!! Its nice because its as small as the internet box i have and they stack nicely. It was reasonable for my self!!

    do not buy inless you are an experienced user, poor product support

    Not ideal for my Windows 7 network. It is most frustrating because the router itself works, but there is a software issue somewhere. And support has been unhelpful because I didn't purchase it new

    easy to configure

    working fine as expected. its easy to configure. Immediately after connecting to the modem it configured the internet settings and provided wifi connectivity.
