Nicely finished for a camera in this price range; all plastic of course but well done. The only fault with all these Minolta SLR cameras from the late 1990's is in the viewfinder which can show some discoloration; i am not sure what causes this but the prism is made up of several mirrors stuck together so maybe adhesives? The seller may not point this out so make sure you ask if is likely to bother you, no effect on the photos you take though. Although not on this particular model, the plastics from this era (1990's-mid 2000's) seem to suffer from deterioration, with hand grips etc becoming sticky with even expensive cameras suffering. As plastics came out in the 1930's you would think they would have perfected them by now! The really old "plastic" cameras were made of very hard and durable Bakelite and those cameras are still as good as when they were made around 80-90 years ago.Read full review
