AF FAST TRACK REVIEW
The fast track by AF IS BEAUTIFUL, clean, durable and would be great for a guy's first small layout. If he needs to enlarge his layout he can do it gradually to absorb the cost. For someone like me, got my train in 1959 at age of 9, now 65 on Medicare only, I have a rather large layout. I took up track to freshen the layout when I gave it to my youngest grandson age 7. I ordered a couple lengths of the Fast track for me to assess. I don't find anything wrong with it unless you are in my position. First, the cost would be prohibitive for me. A large layout that have to be changed, the experience to buy if you need a lot, In conclusion, I've never seen a layout done with fast track save videos on YouTube. American Flyer "S" Gauge Track
I was needing some "S" gauge track for a display and discovered this particular piece on Ebay. It was the perfect length I needed. My particular display consists of an American Flyer 302 steam locomotive, tender, boxcar, and caboose. I like this particular track because it is more realistic looking than the original American Flyer track; plus, it has a nice height, which makes for a easy display piece. Mounting holes are already in place if you want to mount it on a nice piece of wood; however, it looks very nice as is (for example) on a shelf for display purposes.I was needing some "S" gauge track for a display and discovered this particular piece on Ebay. 4 AF 6-49862 30" Long Straight FasTracks
Unfortuately, these 4 Traks when shipped were just CRAMMED into a very narrow shipping Box w/o any packing support what so ever !!! The Box during transit was DROPPED cause BOTH ENDS of the Traks were smashed leaving the Trak connectors Completely unusable. I'm still waiting for a Response from Trainz.
