    Good value, great for cleaning up corroded threads.

    There were higher quality dies available, but I bought this one just for cleaning up the threads on my wheel studs before replacing the lug nuts (1st generation Honda CRV). I was not actually cutting new threads, just removing corrosion and bits of metal (threads) that had stripped off the old rusty lugs and were left imbedded in the threads of the studs. . It worked perfectly for my job. The hexagonal design means that you can turn it with a wrench or big socket (good in case you can't fit a die holder in to the workspace).

    Great die for the price

    I used this die to clean up threads on a couple of lug bolts on my Miata after someone "installed" wrong pitch lug nuts. The die was perfect for this application and the proper lug nuts spin on freely now. Note that this die is NOT for cutting new threads but rather for cleaning up threads that are messed up. It works wonderfully for the task for which it was deigned.
