      New, but not unused...

      The description claimed the motor is new. Evidence shows it had previously been assembled. Grayish tan colored grease in the motor. Also the holes that the two screws thread into to hold the base plate of the lift rod show that the screws have been inserted. The threads cut into the plastic. Brand new and unasssembled will not have evidence of threads of the screws cutting into the holes. Also stock grease (if the motor originally came with a gear nut) would have grease the color and consistency of Vaseline.

      Perfect replacement for original destroyed housing. Fit is great and it must be a better material. I have used 3 of these and they are great.
