Looks Good & stays locked together
I like the way this looks over standard track. The roadbed is attractive. I only use this at Christmas time, but my layout is 5x12. I also like that when these are connected together they stay together until you take them apart. the only downside is, it is not cheap. it could get very expensive fast if you where doing a detailed permanent layout. but if you could afford it this is the way to go. "my personal opinion" but all in. its a very good product and I gave it 5 stars. I like the way this looks over standard track. The roadbed is attractive. like new. very well packaged by lionel the old way (foam instead of plastic). this is the first item i have reviewed (out of more than 50) because it was way above what i expected. i will use the extra pieces in my display case. 80% went into an expansion of my layout that is up and running.

Great change
I have been using the old rusted track and thought I needed a higher voltage transformer. I purchased fast track, and my old 1939 transformer does the job! My grandson loves it, I will st up for his visit tomorrow!
