    Best anytime anyplace and almost any situation lens for Photos and video under $600. Reliable, fast, light weight, durable, Image quality you name it and this will by far beat any lens. The Image Stabilization feature rocks. You may think why would you need it for a lens with f 2.0 but believe you me you will need it more than you could imagine. DXOmarks does extensive testing on almost any equipment out there. Simply read the test scores and you will see what I mean. Buy it without any doubt in your mind and you will find yourself using this lens most out of all the lens you may have. I have used it on both 6D as well as 5D Mark III for over 2 years and I could not be more happy with my purchase.

    All That I Expected

    Did my homework before buying this lens, and have not been disappointed at all. It is everything I had hoped for; tack sharp, east to focus manually when I choose not to use auto-focus, and auto-focus is right on when I do. Light enough to use as a walk around lens, and has a solid quality feel to it. Images are great in color and detail. I'm not a pro, but the pro's that have reviewed it are the ones that encouraged me to buy it.

    Canon EF 35mm IS F/2

    Unlike the less expensive prime lens, this lens has the quality and amenities of an L pro lens. With Image stabilizer, new coating, this lens takes amazing photo in low light. It also looks and feels like a high grade piece of equipment. Highly recommended.
