    Awesome Value

    I had done some research on-line before deciding to purchase the Cold Steel Kobun Tanto knife. All the reviews were good and I decided to go ahead and make the buy. Even so, I was still somewhat skeptical that the knife was as good as all the reviews said it was, yet the price was low so I thought, "why not". Even if I didn't like the knife, I could still pass it on to someone as a Christmas gift. I want to say that the Kobun turned out be a great surprise and was well worth the purchase price. Quality and finish of the knife is excellent! The grip is one of the best I have ever held and the factory edge on the blade is very good. The blade is made of stainless steel and took a good edge without much effort. Also the knife is rather light weight which is neither good or bad but would ...

    Handle size is detrimental to a good knife

    The knife is well made but the knife handle is small. I know it is supposed to be small but this is really small. I wouldn't have bought the knife if I had picked it up in a store. It is well made and probably as robust as other Cold Steel products but it doesn't fit my hand at all. The Cold Steel Voyager XL with a tanto blade was a better choice for me, I have both but wanted the extra strength of the fixed blade. Oh well, sometimes you win and sometimes you don't.

    Great knife for the price

    This is a good Tanto blade, it feels very thin in my hand and light weight. It is not suited a good choice for bushcraft, this is definitely a tactical blade best suited for self defense but it can serve as a general purpose knife, just be aware the blade profile doesn't make it the best choice for the things I usually use a knife for. I am very pleased with this knife and would recommend it to anyone looking for a light Tanto style knife.

    Amazing bang for your buck!

    This knife is a work of utilitarian art! Razor sharp out of the box! Yes, I did shave my arm hairs with it! It's an amazing EDC depending on your state laws permitting or not! Tanto designed to pierce metal sheet! Would make for a great survival and fighting knife if need be. Search use videos on YouTube to see the rest of its usefulness!

    Crazy awsome.

    You will not be disappointed in this knife. Insane how it feels in the hand and it is designed to be a defense or attach knife. It is a military dream, how it handles and cuts through anything so easy. Light as a feather. You will not be left with something you cannot use. The grip is great. Be careful with this one if you are not experienced. SWEET.
