Cowboy Bebop the movie, more excellence in feature length
I'm a Baby Boomer but I fell in love with animation at an early age. After film school, that love expanded into professional curiosity. I've studied film for several decades but found a new love for "anime" in the 1980s when VCR tapes began to arrive from Japan. Ever since, I've loved the media. My son has introduced me to many titles and in the early 2000s turned me onto Cowboy Bebop. We watched the series first (excellent however I would warn parents about violence - this is adult anime). When the movie came out, I got busy and missed it. He recommended it to me and I was grateful to find this combo version with the entire film for about one quarter what others were asking for the stand alone film. Cowboy Bebop is quite excellent storytelling on an adult level. See the series first. Then the movie. Highly recommended.
