Tape deck has issues with channel shifter. But other then that it seems to work. It plays tapes. I have not fully tested the unit. It is defective. So unit needs repair. Thus it is sold for parts, and as is.

Challenging, but functional.. it did what it was supposed to do ..
So, I get it .. nobody really wants these. I only needed it because I was doing a fundraiser, raising money so I could print some vinyl, and a friend of mine said, “make me an 8-track and I’ll donate.” True story. It all worked out. It was hard to figure out how to make the machine behave, but I made it work. Thanks for that.
