    Review of BBA Live in Japan

    If you are a fan of Carmine Appice or Jeff Beck, this is a good CD to have. I bought the LP back when it first came out in 1983, so I have listened to this many times. Since that time, this material has been re-mastered and issued on CD. Originally only released in Japan, this CD has since been released world wide. There are many highlights on this CD, but the soulful stuff stands out to me, i.e., "Sweet Sweet Surrender" and "I'm So Proud." Beck sings on "Black Cat Moan" and does a good job on that. Finally, probably the best version of "Jeff's Boogie" I have ever heard is on this CD. It is a powerhouse!
