    I’ve seen (and for that matter owned) a lot of Philco Hippos over the years. This is one of the nicest. The radio arrived quickly. It was skillfully packed to stand up to clumsy delivery people, ( bubble wrapped , double boxed, with plenty of styrofoam peanuts and other padding for fill.)The pictures and description were accurate. All in all, a great transaction and a good value!

    Great little scope for the price

    I bought one of these used, but it was in great shape. Everything works and it was very clean. For the price this does just about everything I could desire. Two very minor quirks: 1. The buttons across the top are a little flaky. Sometimes I need to press a couple of times to get them to take. 2. There is only one set of vertical controls for both CH1 and CH2. So you need to push a button to select the channel, then turn the knob. Not a big deal at all, but might take a little getting used to. In sum, a perfect scope for someone who may deal with fancier scopes at work all day, but just wants something inexpensive - though of quality - to fool around with at home now and then.

    DS1102E First review (Impression)

    Scope works very well but has a few short comings once you understand what is real and not real. Sample rate and the amount of time it takes to get the information on the screen does contribute to display error. The lack of additional functional knobs creates an even longer list of sub menus. Over all very,very glad that I purchased this scope. One last complaint. Wrong power cord was shipped to North America. Others have complained and I will keep after the seller to ship the correct power cord.

    Great features in a small form factor for a modest price

    With support for two signals and a full feature set, this scope has everything I need for my hobby DIY projects (Arduino, MIDIBox Synths, Drone/ RC, etc.). Found mine gently used at a great price. Overall good value.

    Compact very good quality!

    This model will even self test and calibrate itself! No longer have to send an oscilloscope out for calibration! The display shows frequency, period, and all other parameters!

    Nice 100MHz dso

    This scope is so awesome and easy to use compared to my old tube scope. The digital abilities are great. I will never go back to the old tube scopes. Works great with my bk2040 & bk1040 cb tester.
