Bert Berkson was one of the leaders about ALA treatment in general, but a volume of study has been done in the 21 years since he wrote his book. Top Notch Explanation of a Wonderful Safe Remedy
Even though this book has been out for a few years it is still relevant. Dr. Berkson has many years of research behind him and is an expert on Alpha Lipoic Acid. He has successfully used it to heal all the modern diseases of aging. He does a great job of explaining in understandable language how it works to heal the body. He also explains the importance of eating a clean diet and avoiding the modern toxins that are so prevalent. It's great to know there is a cost effective substance that our bodies make naturally that declines with age that we can use without worrying about harmful side effects.
