This is a great resource if you want to know more about the individual actors who appeared on the show. The first 387 pages covers the main actors and actresses and their careers through the publication date of 2012 as well as a brief history of the show. Then there's about another 50-60 pages about those who played those minor roles, including people who appeared maybe just one day. There's cast lists of the movies. There's lots of black and white photos of the minor and major cast members. Then, of course, there's a brief explanation of the remakes. This is a great reference guide, and helps you understand the show better and remember things better. You'll learn lots of tidbits. For example, I learned that Mary Cooper, the woman who played the older Josette (mother of Bramwell) in the last segment of the show, was a very close friend of actress Joan Bennett. The book acts like a reference, but it reads like a biography.
