The Samsung SC-D382 is a camcorder in the Samsung family of recording devices which weighs 11.5 ounces and measures 4.41 inches in height by 3.74 inches in width by 2.4 inches in depth. The Samsung SC-D382 camcorder features a 2.7-inch rotating LCD screen with full color so that the person who is filming, as well as the subject, can see what is being recorded to the mini DV tape. This camcorder with its NTSC recording system, 34x optical zoom, 1200x digital zoom and 0.7 megapixel resolutions is able to capture 60 continuous minutes of action before needing a tape change and is able to get a full 80 minutes out of a single battery charge. The Samsung SC-D382 camcorder has a digital image stabilizer so that shaky hands or frequent angle changes will not ruin a moment and will appear stable and clear for the viewer. The Samsung SC-D382 also has a built-in stereo microphone and speakers with digital noise reduction so that the sound comes out loud and clear whether the movie is watched on the camcorder itself or a television set when connected with the included S-video cable. This camcorder even runs on either DC power or a rechargeable battery so that an uncharged battery will not hinder the videographer from capturing the important moment. With its minimum shutter speed of 1 out of 50 of a second and its max shutter speed of 1 out of 10000 second, the Samsung SC-D82 camcorder recording device can also capture still images. These can then be transferred to a personal computer via micro USB so that they can be shared on social networks or emailed to family and friends.
