really works
I recently had a cpap. My oxygen levels would drop to 73. I would stop breathing every 3 minutes. I would wake up at least 6 times a night also had to use the bathroom. Cpap boosted my oxygen levels back up to the 90's level. Cpap very expensive. Then I found this device on MSN but they wanted $119.00. So I went to EBAY and found this one. Wore it last night for the first time. WOW!!!!! No snoring No drooling Only woke up twice My legs did not hurt and be all red when I woke up because I got the right amount of oxygen all night! If you suffer from these symptoms Please go to EBAY and do yourself a favor and order at least one. There are several different styles. I ordered a few of them to see which one I would prefer. Good product, just to big for my husband.
the item barely closes (it velcros well) but it is to long to wrap around my husband's head properly. I am not sure it is tight enough with the length it is to keep his mouth closed and use enough velcro to keep it secured. I am not sure the seller has a smaller size. Sweats and stretches but inexpensive
Product bleeds when you use it. The blue ink can and will leak onto pillow cases and such. If you are a heavy snorer you will need to use this product with another in order to keep your mouth closed. The item stretches out easy and does not very elastic, and will come apart if you sleep with anything that has velcro. too loose for me
For me the belt was to long and I have a very hard time trying to get it tight enough, so it tends to slip off during the night even with the velcro moved to the edge of its effectivness. if it was shorter I think I would like the item more, so for my it does not really work. Comfy and works.
I have used this for a couple of weeks now. It really helps me to close my mouth during the night, so no more dry mouth (which is why I bought it). It doesnt feel like the jaw is forced shut. I can always open my mouth and breathe if I want to, just takes a little more effort. Its rather comfortable to a degree. I always find myself taking it off again, after the first 3-4 hours of sleep though. Read some people complain about its size - I am an adult male, and the it fit my head perfectly, and my head size is pretty normal. So unless you have a very tiny or extremely large head, I'd say go for it. Good quality velcro. Materiel seems sturdy and flexible. Not Worth the Price
The price is unreasonably too high for this product. The material is although soft on skin but lacks elasticity for firmness/tightness. Good thing is that it is wide (compared to others) and has a better grip at chin; yet it sometimes falls off at night due to lack of elasticity. It also uncovers the ears properly, but one needs to shorten its length by sewing the extra portion. To long, to work for me
The material and workmanship are very good, the idea is to however..... My head measures approx. 27". This measures 29", it has to overlap the Velcro to even begin to tighten, and still doesn't keep my mouth closed. I have sleep apnea, and this won't help. My wife is going to try to take a tuck, to shorten it up. Not as sturdy as it looks in photos.
I bought this product because I needed a new chinstrap that would secure my mouth when I sleep and use my CPAP along with it. I don't know who's head they modeled this on, but it is way bigger than mine, the velcro doesn't give much room to adjust so its always slipping off my head at night and as a result I wake up and have to re-adjust everything. I so wanted this to work!
My wife is constantly waking me up to tell me to roll over so when I saw this product I just had to give it a try. It was comfortable around the head and I managed to fall right asleep wearing it. Then around 2 a.m. I got the familiar, "You're snoring, roll over!" It may work for those who only snore out of their mouths but my wife and daughter say I snore through the nose so it just didn't work for me.
