    Solid machine for beginners to experts with features you can measure and adjust as you progress.

    Rugged, easy to assemble, quality materials and manufacturing. Well thought-out ergonomic design and functionality. Good low impact exercise with adjustable resistance. Rowing uses 80% of the body’s muscles, tendons, and ligaments during a workout. I used a Concept2 Model D at the gym for years, the same machine and it never broke down. When the gym closed due to COVID, I missed the workout so much, I bought one. Great piece of equipment. Support is great and even though you probably will never need them, spare parts are available from the manufacturer at reasonable prices. PS. The PM5 display is a must to accurately track your progress.

    Concept2 Model D Rower, best rower out there.

    The CONCEPT2 Model D rower is quite simply the gold standard for rowing machines. Not the most expensive, and certainly not the most sophisticated. But it does what you want, links to your phone, and gives you a quality workout. I had to pay about $300 above regular price to get a new one due to the shortage but it was worth it. I had used this model a great deal in gyms so I knew what I was getting.

    Worth the investment

    I was initially hesitant to invest in this piece of equipment, and even initially bought a used, cheap rower. What a waste, once the rower arrived, I gave it away. It took me less than 10 minutes to set it up and I've been using it religiously ever since. I love the ability to create workouts, the progressive resistance, and the overall workout I'm able to achieve using this machine. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger, this is a great piece of equipment!

    It's Considered the Best Rower for a Reason

    This item is considered a gold standard for a reason when it comes to rowing machine. I couldn't suggest it more. The construction is sturdy. It separates in the center (seat slide and row bar sections) for easy storage. I don't have high ceilings, that 96" is too long to just stand it up. Ultimately, it takes up slighty more floor space than a kitchen chair when storing it this way. The PM5 connects perfectly to my phone without issue and the ErgData app is great for tracking your progress. You can also use the a UBS drive to do the same tracking and with this there is no chance you accidentally leave it in the Rower at the gym. The question of whether it's a good value is highly subjective though. This is hands down the single most expensive piece of fitness equipment I have ...
