    cute as a button

    A little fast around the curves so it crashes a little too often. Still very cute. I picked up a bunch of those little ceramic village houses for a song and I thought I'd set them up and run a little train around the base of our tiny Christmas tree in the kid's department at the library. I've been looking for a while. The "real" model trains cost a fortune and we wouldn't want to risk them in the kid's department. But these were just about perfect. We turn it on. It zips around. The kids oo and ah. It crashes. We turn it off for a while. Works for us. Not much track but I did buy two sets to make it run around a little further. Occasionally we run both trains at once. The crashes are much more impressive that way.

    Cute but hard to turn on.

    The switch to turn on was not what I expected and when I try to turn on it jumps track. I had a lot of trouble with it. Overall it is cute and the grandkids enjoyed watching me try to keep on track. Once you get it on track it runs but I had trouble keeping more than one car on it at a time. It's just a cute little novelty. Train is old timey looking.
