    Loads and plays discs quickly but...

    At its introduction this unit was described at being the fastest at loading discs which is what attracted me to purchase this model. The disc loading speed, however, does NOT translate to web applications. Using Panasonic's "Vieracast" I was indeed able to VIEW my Amazon watchlist and play without issue. But browsing for new content is a nightmare. With each item view the lag time got slower and slower to almost totally freezing. I do not have this issue with my newer Sony blu-ray player so I can only suspect that its either the player itself or the Vieracast software. I am using a wired ethernet connection on a gigabit network which should be faster than my Sony's wireless connection. Otherwise, this is a great unit. I've connected it to my AV receiver using HDMI and the optical audio ...

    Very Good Unit

    This is the second DMP-BDT210 unit that I purchased I am very satisfied with the Blu-Ray player. The unit is easy to link to the internet, the 3-D works well, the internet programs come in high definition. The only complaint that I have with this unit is my external hard drive will not work with the unit's USB port. Other than this complaint I love the Panasonic. It cuts through Cinavia like no other unit that I have ever been in contact with.

    2nd one

    I already have one. This is my second one. It plays all my movies that I down load and burn. The new DVD players all have blocks on them, not allowing you to play movies you burn. This one does not have that issue. Now I have one for each of my most used TV's. I have more expensive players that play 3D and 4k movies, but this one will play the movies we watch the most.
