  • The Behringer HB01 Wah Pedal (Guitar)

I paid about $45 for this pedal and it is really worth at least 2 or 3 times that much, IMO. It has 7 or 8 switches and knobs so that if you experiment a lot, you'll be able to dial in the sound you're looking for; I know I did. All you need do is sit down with the pedal (patiently) and start fiddling with and tweaking the different 'switches' and 'knobs' and if you're as fortunate as I was you will not "Only" find 'the' sound that you're looking for , but you'll find a nice variety of different ways to 'color' your sound. Let me just say that it broadened my 'sound' pallet. NOT A TYPICAL "Plastic Behringer Pedal. This Thing is made from some type of metal alloy and carries a lot of weight to it. To use an often 'over-used' expression: "You can hammer nails with this thing." Suffice to say, it is extremely "Well-Built," and if and when you get it you'll see for yourself that it was built to last... Finally, a lot of people use the expression, "It's great for the money," when describing certain things in general. Well, IMO this pedal is not only "Great For The Money," but, like I said earlier even if it cost me 2 or 3 times as much, it would still be "Great For The Money!" *Highly Recommended!!!"

  • Very Good with One Caveat

This inexpensive pedal has some nice features found on higher-end pedals; The sweep range can be adjusted so that it could potentially be utilized with the khz range of a bass or guitar. The shape of the waveform can be changed and the pedal can be set to stay in its spot as opposed to springing back, among other things. The pedal sounds as good as any Dunlop to my ears. The one caveat I would say is that the pedal is not sensitive enough; The range from off to fully pressed down is very small compared to a Dunlop or other high-end pedal. It needs some modification (there are some videos explaining how to do it) to make the pedal more sensitive but after the mod it works just as good as any more expensive pedal I've used before.

  • Almost too configurable...

Great pedal, sounds great, but took some tweaking to find the best settings for me. It's nice to be able to change the shape of the filter, but found it really sounds best all the way to the right. The more subtle effect of the wider Q seems too understated and useless. With the range set just under high, it sounds very much like a Dunlop. It took a little getting used to but you can't beat it for the price.

  • As good as the other brands and half the price.

I have used all the different Wah's in my lifetime and I actually choose the Hellbabe over all of them. It has an optical switch, which is the only way to go on a Wah pedal. The sound can be tailored and customized to get many different parameters. It cost a lot less than the others. It works very good and I have had one for awhile, so it stands up over time. The only thing if it is important to you, is it has a very hard durable plastic housing, some like a metal case, I use mine at home and don't gig so it is fine for me, the plastic for me is not a problem. Highly recommended. Great on leads and funk or some old Black Sabbath like Electric Funeral.

  • A good wah pedal for the price!

I bought this wah-wah pedal for my guitar equipment arsenal. The price for the brand new pedal was in my price range, and the reviews were good. It was delivered on time, and I was happy with my purchase.

  • Hellbabe

Good features, great price. Only complaint is the tight wah pattern, which once you get used to it, not a problem.

  • Flexible Wah

This is a very good sounding Wah. But it is a little hard to dial in. It has parameter adjustments for just about everything plus a built in boost. It comes on with movement of the pedal and I first it kept shutting off in the middle of phrasing. But the fix for this is on the bottom there is a timing switch adjust this to set how long the pedal stays on in between movements. Once this is set adjusting the Q frequency and the sweep and pretty soon you have a classic sounding Wah that can rival any. And for a considerable less amount of cash. You will have to spend time with it making adjustments and dialing in your sound it is not plug and play but learn and play. But it is a very flexible Wah that can be tailored to your sound. Put an overdrive or distortion pedal before it and you have the sounds of classic rock through the years

  • Great wah, except 1 thing!

I love this pedal, but the power input is in the stupidest place possible. It’s on the right side. STUPID

  • Best bang for the buck

I bought one 14 years ago for $29. I am still using it today. I just purchased another as a back up. The only issue was the fulcrum pin would work it's way out and the foot pedal would fall off. I solved that by screwing on a piece of hacksaw blade over it.

  • Nice!

Great sounding pedal at an awesome price. I love the fact that you don't have to click it on. You just start pressing down and the pedal activates and once you release it up, it shuts off. I guess this is a preference choice but I like it better than the other pedals that you have to click on and off. Would definitely buy again if needed to.
