It does have the zipper so you can take it off a wash it also that's good to.

Everything was fantastic, quick shipping (day early!) and perfectly packaged in a well cushioned box. 1 problem: FedEx driver delivered the box UPSIDE DOWN! Clearly marked with arrows and words... definitely major driver mistake, and could have severely damaged the unit if I had not known what to do.
