    I like DeWalt tools - but......

    it's a good item and works, but it will never hold up long term and would be a "throw away" on a jobsite. Too much plastic - the main worry will be the blade release which after a period of time will be more brittle than it already seems and will snap off leaving you with no way to lock or remove blades. It's features like that which make other companies like Milwaukee so much more desirable.

    Quick shipping. Worked great for a minute

    Product came very quickly via USPS and upon receiving it I put in a battery and a blade and was really happy. I went outside to cut up some scrap lumber and after a few cuts the saw has quit working. Motor spins but the blade doesn’t reciprocate.

    would recommend to a friend

    bought 6 amp hour battery's to power saw, used saw for about 1.5 hrs clearing brush and small trees . I was worn out from work and according to indicator on battery it still had 50% charge left in it. Saw seems to have as much power as my 120 v saw has. I am well pleased with its performance .

    Dewalt 20v reciprocating saw

    Had to cut some studs to replace under deck . Saw was easy to handle under deck with precise cuts made .recommend stay with dewalt lithium batteries instead of generic ones. They last longer and recharge faster.

    Powerful little saw.

    Has a variable speed depending on trigger pull, and has the ability to go really fast without binding up. What they cost new is kind of expensive but if you can find a deal on a used one you can literally save nearly half the price over a new one. If you are in need of a reciprocating saw and already have the batteries and charging capabilities from other tools I highly recommend this one.
