I found this to be on the dull side. The amusing parts are few and far between. There are some. Just not enough. I understand this to be Rob Riener's first foray into full length feature film directing. If so, I'm surprised he made any more films. I suppose it has some value as having a "cult" following. Classic mockumentary, rock stars, spandex, drugs, cucumber in the pants, series of drummers from deaths, crazy girlfriend breaking up the band, mismanagement by the tour manager, record company censoring the band's ideas. If you like music, but don't take your rock bands too seriously, this movie is for you. The songs are actually as good as some of the music they are spoofing.
