It is somewhat misleading calling this an eight (8) output power supply...
The Gator GTR-PWR-8 Pedal Board Power Supply is exceptionally well-made. It has up to seven (7) 9-volt, center negative outputs that are switchable. Outputs 1 and 2 are switchable between solid 9-volt DC outputs (switch in the up position) and variable between 4 and 9 volts DC (in the down position). The next outputs (3, 4, and 5) are switchable between 9 volts DC (switch up) and 12 volts DC (switch down). Output 6 is switchable between 9 volts DC (up) and 18 volts DC (down). The last two outputs consist of output 7, which is switchable between 9 volts DC (up) and 12 volts DC.
Now comes the bait and switch: it says on the front panel not to use output 8 at the same time as output 7. I would assume this because output 8 (for which there is no switch) is 12 volts AC. Therefore, it is great for most users' needs, just make sure that your seven (7) pedals will fit within the parameters of this unit. I have a couple of pedals that will still need to use their individual wall wart.
