    Not the same as when it was French, but even better

    This is the 3rd iteration of the original made in France brush, and once I got used to the larger size I think it is the best one yet. The original French brush used to break diagonally across the back and as with the following two productions, the metal bristles would manage to sink into the rubber base and require regular extending with tweezers or needle-nose pliers. The second brush, made in France by a different company, was much the same. Over the years I must have broken at least 3 brushes across the back. The next brush was made in China and looked just like the other two, but apparently the bristles were made of steel, but not stainless. Since I brush my long hair under the shower, the bristles soon rusted and fell out. This brush is a different shape and is somewhat larger ...

    It's big and bulky.

    It is of cheaper quality than what I was expecting. I thought it would be like the Scalpmasters that were made in France. This brush was made in China. It's big and bulky. Scalpmasters are no longer made in France so I was taking a chance with this model. I would not buy it again.
