    Salonpas Lidocaine

    I have severe nerve pain. My surgery was cancelled because of the virus. These patches are a big help. They take away the pain after a couple of hours and grant me ability to sleep at night. I could take narcotics, Ibuprofen, aspirin but they are bad for your liver. I am able to limit use of those thanks to the patches. However, to get them to stay put I use a paper tape and tape all four edges. Otherwise, the only way they will stay on is if you are totally inactive. I have tried store brands from other countries and they are not as effective. This brand is made in Japan is top quality so I only use these now.

    A Total Waste of Money

    The plain patches work but that is. My wife wore the patches with lidocaine and found they rolled up and came off. So she could not even tell if they were good. They are a waste of money and they are very expensive too, compared to the plain ones.

    Salonpas Good But Heating Pad Works Best

    It's better then nothing and alot out there. But shoulder problems as you age are not much fun which are common when you sleep on your side. In addition to them per my mother's suggestion is using a heating pad and that is a great alternative to applying something like Salonpas and provides quicker and deeper pain relief and the only cost is your electricity.

    Sticks well for me

    I use these patches for foot pain and not pain on my neck or back, so I can't say how it works for that, but it is pretty good for my feet when they act up. I put a sock over my foot for the first hour after I have applied the patch to insure that the patch won't move and stay stuck in place. After an hour, it is stuck tightly and won't come off until I really pull at it.. These patches do work well enough that I able to walk without taking pain meds, and that is why I will continue to use them.

    Miraculous!

    I have suffered from SEVERE lower back pain for years, caused by discdegeration & facet joint degeneration-osteoarthritis in a major way! I have tried virtually EVERY lotion, gel, pill, you name it, I’ve tried it... I am on Prescription pain medication... & have regular Rhizolysis procedures (nerve blocking, in layman’s terms my nerve clusters are burnt so as to stop the pain signals reaching my brain). These patches do the same thing in essence!!! They desensitise the nerves, numbing them completely, so effectively no pain signals are sent to the brain. It’s like a deep anaesthetic-it’s used as strong local anaesthetic in hospitals, & dentists surgeries etc. They WORK!!! I am now getting them on prescription at a slightly higher dose of 5%. However, the 4% is AMAZING! My pain is chronic ...
